Pointe West is a water lover’s paradise.  Each owner is allowed to have a boat dock that is immediately adjacent to their home.  The dock design selected by the Homeowners Association can accommodate boats up to 45 feet in length, and two personal watercraft.

Pointe West does maintain and enforce rules with respect to “No Wake” and “Swim Areas”, to maximize safety and quiet enjoyment for our residents.  Once outside the protection of our boat channel the wide-open spaces of Saginaw and Lake Huron are calling.

When underway the waters from Sand Point to Caseville are warm and inviting. For the more adventurous, consider these destinations:

Our mile of shoreline is incredible.  All the beaches and lake bottom are sand, with a long gentle slope to deep water.  This plateau of shallow water causes the water to warm up early and makes the area perfect for children to play and learn water skills; or for adults to take long walks along the beach.

For the fisherman the waters off Pointe West offer excellent fishing for walleye and perch.  Immediately to the south is Wildfowl Bay which provides the avid hunter with the best duck and goose hunting anywhere. 

For the golfer, The Scenic Golf & Country Club is located within 3 miles of Sand Point.

Pointe West is located on Sand Point, near Caseville; less than 100 miles from the northern suburbs of Detroit, and only two hours from Lansing and Ann Arbor.
